Default An update from a long lost member....

I believe it's been about a year since I have been on HCC, I missed it! Just thought I'd give you a bit of an update on Jack and I. Jack turns 5 the 22nd!! I can hardly believe it, it's unimaginable to me that I've owned him for 5 years. He is still ornery, but he has vastly matured in the last year. Still growing though, I believe he's gained another inch to inch and a half this winter. I didn't get a chance to show last year, my BO/Trainer has had a rough road this last year and hasn't been able to afford it. However, the stud colt I've been training is turning 3 this year and I know I will be showing him at least a time or two to introduce him to the glitzy world of showing, lol. He was lightly started under saddle last summer and has been turned out for the winter to mature. I CAN'T WAIT TO GET ON HIM!!
I also recently acquired a dog. He showed up on my parents front porch(inside the fence, someone had to put him in the fence and he was only 3 months old) and was EXACTLY what I wanted! He is a black and white German Shorthair Pointer and wonderful company, lol. He is almost 7 months old and already about 55lbs, I expect him to be a good size. He's very smart and great around the horses, can't wait to take him out on the trails! Aaand, I am sure you will laugh because I've gotten a few smirks, but his name is Bird. He's my little Bird Dog. So, now to the part you're actually interested in, PICS!

Well, my work computer is giving me fits so I'll have to load the pics later, Dang it!

Jen! I was beginning to wonder where you had gotten to! Well, actually, it's been awhile since I've been here as well, almost a year, and then I'd slip on for a day once in a blue moon. But heck can't blame me, I mean I did get married, and moved, twice... lol...

Been posting a little bit more lately though. I missed the forum too there for awhile, but internet was not reliable all the time and I was busy.
Glad to hear you're still training and showing I hope to be doing some of that this year...the showing. Haven't shown since 2005!

SO..... pics pics pics!! Must have pics! Of Jack of course, the colt you're working with and your doggy, and you as well?

Talk to ya soon -

This is the only pic I have of Stalker on this computer, I'll get some more up later. He's almost 16hh, smoky black, and as you can tell a love sponge, lol

This was shortly after I got him, he's darkened up quite a bit and has grown a ton!

Jen, there are never too many pictures. Well... Almost never.
Your dog is to die for! So cute
Jack has really matured, and looking better than ever. Stalker; gorgeous also. I really like the first pic of his face and...yours (?) You'll have to post showing pics this summer!
