Default Universal Sports to broadcast Rolex Kentucky Equestrian Championships

Universal Sports TV and Universalsports.com will be broadcasting the 2010 Rolex Kentucky Three Day event. All FOUR days of the event will be available live on UniversalSports.com as a Pay Per View. Pay per View coverage will be made available in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

April 22 (Dressage): 9AM-12PM ET; 1:00PM-4:00PM ET
April 23 (Dressage): 9AM-12PM ET; 1:00PM-4:00PM ET
April 24 (Cross Country): 9AM-12PM ET; 1:00PM-4:00PM ET
April 25 (Show Jump): 1:00PM- 2:30PM ET

Video on Demand: VOD (paid) will be posted in real time, which will allow the viewer to rewind to the beginning (but cannot fast forward)

Pay Per View Set-up: You will be able to go online prior to the event date and pay for coverage. Probably sometime after April 15.

ROLEX KENTUCKY THREE-DAY EVENT
PRESENTED BY BRIDGESTONE
TO AIR LIVE ON UNIVERSAL SPORTS

LOS ANGELES – April 14, 2010 – Universal Sports is pleased to televise the Show Jumping segment of the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by Bridgestone LIVE on Sunday, April 25, with network coverage beginning at 1 p.m. ET. The Rolex Kentucky Championships, part of the HSBC FEI Classics™ Series, will showcase the world's best horses and riders from eight countries together as they compete for $250,000 in prize money.

Universal Sports’ broadcast team of Tim Singer (play-by-play) and three-time Olympian and eventing trainer Jimmy Wofford (analyst) will call the action for the television broadcast.

Live, pay-per-view coverage of the Championships will be available at UniversalSports.com/Equestrian and will include Dressage (April 22–23), Cross Country (April 24) and Show Jumping (April 25) events. Full-length on-demand video, schedules, highlights, photos and recaps are also available on the website.

The World Equestrian Games, also broadcast on Universal Sports from September 25–October 10, will be held at the Kentucky Horse Park, the first time that the equestrian sport's biggest event will be in the United States.
