Good News Friday: Injured Italian WEG Horse Fully Recovered
The Italian horse who was severely lacerated after crashing late on the WEG cross-country course is fully recovered and back home in Italy. Imam du Golfe ran into WEG fence #20, a large wooden corner, and caused the WEG vet staff a great deal of concern because the laceration on his left shoulder was so large. After being treated at Rood and Riddle, Iman du Golfe has spent the last few months recovering at a broodmare farm in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Iman du Golfe flew back to Europe in late December and is now sound enough to ride.
