Question What is my saddle?

Hey yall!
See, I've had this saddle for a year or more...
Lovely saddle, 17inch all purpose english
But I'm not sure...what kind it is? Brand wise?
I got it off my friend for $40, and she's long gone to college..
So do any of yall think what it might be? It has no brand at all...

Thanks

Kara

First off, it's English, I have NO IDEA! But I have to say it is about the prettiest English saddle I have EVER seen!

Your saddle does not have a "brand".
It is a factory assembly line production saddle. They are then distributed to whoever wants to sell them.
Most of the time they are sold through catalogs, but some store fronts also carry them.
Kind of like hoof picks, nobody knows who makes them, but the same one can be bought from various locations.

Ohh okay, thank you so much

I've been wondering for awhile why it didn't have any markings on it. :P

Thanks again!

Just to comment that these mass produced saddles are usually made in Asia (China, India, or Pakistan) on fiberglass trees using very low quality leather. I would personally only use it as a decoration in my house .

Well I can't afford a better saddle & this one has worked fine for me & the horses I've ridden

well for people that can't afford to spend $3000 on a saddle, it works just fine-- and not for nothing i find this comment a little rude.

the question was about what brand it was-- not about the quality
