Aww, she's pretty! What is she? What's her name? Shes a bit stocky, but she'll change A LOT in the first year, year and half.
As of right now, I don't see any reason you couldn't show her english if you wanted. I could be wrong, but I think it'll depend a lot on how she moves out and her head carriage, etc...

Why not do both ?
All of my horses do whatever I decide I want to do today. Good horsemanship is good horsemanship no matter what saddle you throw on.
Examples;
Sport-8 yr old, Colonel Freckles bred QH gelding- Reining, 2nd level Dressage, Novice Eventer, 4-H Drill team, trail rides.
Dominic-5 yr old, half brother to Sport- 1st level Dressage, Driving, starting Reining
Fabulous-13 yr, Austrian TB- Eventing, 2nd level Dressage, Foxhunter, Trail rides
Ellie-26 yr,Bask bred Arabian-Halter,Hunter,Pleasure,Western Reining,Trail,4-H Drill,Driving, and when younger endurance.

So, As much as you put into her, is as much as you will get out. There is no limit it just takes time.
I do like red/white, She is cute.
Enjoy her.

Both horses are beautiful. Why not ride both? Though she may do better at one discipline than another, it doesn't matter what saddle you're riding in as far as horsemanship goes. She is cute!

Many top western trainers start their horses out in a simple snaffle.

The saddle must fit the horse well and be comfortable, I like English for that, but either style is okay.

If you start and train your horse in English riding and basic dressage, you can always go Western with a little bit of getting the horse familiar with the tack. 'Course the pleasure headset is another story...

Oh boy, I won't get started on pleasure headsets. I don't mind a horse with a level headset, but those horses with their heads almost dragging the ground I don't think I could possibly stand to ever ride comfortably lol.
