Default Good English Saddle

It is that time again to celebrate my anniversary. And since my wife is a great woman I would like to buy here a very nice english saddle. Does anyone know of what is a "sought after" brand?

Now I am not rich but would like to have a decent idea of what to look for. I can get the size from her of her other saddles.

Any help?

I have a Crosby DSL. I love it!! You pretty much get what you pay for with these things. I wouldn't get her a saddle with knee rolls either. You can look into Crosbys, Passosas, etc. Try ebay.com, they have really niced used saddles for a good price!

Default Thanks Fancy

I have been watching EquineMinimart also some pretty good deals there but they don't last long as there are not as many listings.

I am going to have to to some sneaking around and see what I can find in the tack shed. I have it kind of easy she folds the corners of magazines when she finds someting interesting.

Default Great husband

WOW! Got any brothers ?
Most riders are very particular about their saddles. It is the most generous idea, BUT a saddle is a very personal item. You may be just as loved by giving a handmade gift card saying that she gets to have/pick the sadlle of her dreams. Or, don't know if you or friends ride try something like "Joe said he /she was going to buy a new saddle it cost $2,000 if you were going to do that and money was no issue what would you buy". Good Luck
