Default G'Day again from Australia;

G'Day again from the land down under - I was here perviously but lost the link to the forum and ended forgetting all about it, that is, until I got an email from the admin advertsing something to do with a member run, so I thought heck!! I should go over there again!! So I'm back for now, until I loose the link again - yeah, I have a slight habit of that, or I should say, my computer has a habit of randomly failing and needing rebooting and therefore loosing my fave links and so on... nice huh? She's getting to the point of being an "ice-age" old computer system.

Well it's nice to be back - feel free to check out my artwork on the "Photo Album" thread and give me some feed back !

Look forward to seeing you around again!

Sam,

If you keep losing your links, you should make a copy, just in case. Depending on which browser you are using you should be able to save the bookmark to a file and then print it out. If that doesn't work, do it the old fashioned way. Since I don't know your computer savvy level, I am assuming beginner. This is not intended as an insult, just so no matter what level you are at you will know what to do! These instructions are for a PC only:

Use Notepad or something similar. Visit all your links and copy and paste them into notepad. If you are not that familiar with cut and paste, just double click the address (where you see http://www.horsechitchat.com/equine.... etc.) When it turns blue, click CTRL (keep it down) and click C (that is for COPY). Open up Notepad or whatever program you want to use and click into it. Click CTRL (keep it down) and Click V (that is for PASTE). Click the Enter key and type in your name (the one you use here) and password.

CTRL-C for Copy and CTRL-V for Paste (if you are on a Mac, sorry, not sure which keys to use!)

Repeat for all the important places you have bookmarked.

If your computer has a habit of "blowing up" and losing everything, print it out so you will have a copy. Keep it under the computer or monitor so you know where to find it.

Hope that helps, and welcome (back)!

Yeah I'll definately keep the URL on a seperate page near the computer - not a bad idea at all. I'm definately computer savvy, don't worry, just never thought to print out all the URL's I have on my fave's list to keep them aside, great idea! Thanks for the tip.

Glad to be back though!
