Hi from South Arkansas
Hi from south Arkansas,
I am 47 y/o and have been in the horse business forever it seems. Married with one son and one stepson. Son is going to be 12 in April, stepson is 23 and lives in Texas where he is a farrier. We raise paints and quarters. We stand a paint stallion: CNRS Skipper Leo. You can see his pedigree on allbreedpedigrees.com. We have paint and quarter mare that we breed to him. We bought him last year and have our first foal on the ground from him. She is a Tricolored filly out of a black and white Doc O'lena mare.
We train horses, ours and outside horses, give riding lessons and whatever else folks need done. We stay busy 7 days a week.
On Saturdays, we all work at a sale barn where I am the ticket writer, my husband checks the horses in and out and my son works the goat and pig side of the barn.
We live at the very bottom of Arkansas, only 5 miles from the Louisiana line where if you don't like the weather here, stay a few hours it will change espically this time of the year.
