A friend just told me about this forum. Looks like a really fun place. I live in Oregon and am happily owned by a beautiful black Percheron named Solon. He's going to the big '11' next week. He's 18 hands, 2200 lbs. (we are working on trimming some of that off).

We ride mostly bareback, but also English and when he used to fit in the horse trailer we did medieval shows (I am in the SCA). Now we do horse soccer.

I'm a fish biologist and also have a 6 year old Dutch bunny named Bunzilla! and a 3 year old American Silk guinea pig named Rommie. They are a lot of fun.

Love love love your big guy. I always wanted to ride in faire garb, but never had the opportunity. I used to do the Ren-Faire circuit and many of our group were also involved in the SCA.
