Talking New in Forum Town

Hello!

I'm new to this forum and Thought i would Introduce myself.
My name is Megan and i hail from Atlanta .
I own one Horse named Zig Zag. He's a Morgan and we are currently training for Hunter/Jumper. We have been riding Western for two years so it's definitely new for us!

We are open for any suggestions on migrating from Western to English.
We love to learn!

Welcome Megan and Zig Zag! My name is Jen and I'm owned by an ornery 2 yr old Bay Kentucky Mountain Horse(Mom was actually gaited Morgan, but registered Kentucky)named Legends Captain Jack. I hack out Western but show Saddle Seat. I love the tradition and I think English is beautiful, but Western is so much more relaxed when you're just out playing.

Hi,
The Western/English conversion is'nt to hard. Although you've picked the one furthest apart. Hunt seat- is really just trying to stay in 2 point [feet/knees-hold you on] Any other English discipline is very close to western[Dressage /Eventing/polo/saddleseat/endurance] Although with time anything is possible.
