Default Well Howdy

What a nice, friendly Forum! I will be honest, I may be out of the demographic here. I'm a 40 yr old guy who used to train horses. Originally from Texas, now I live in Boston. Attracted by the weather, lol.

I wrote a book about the history of horsemanship, and eventually I'll post about it. For now I'll poke around and give my take on a few things. As a junior I rode both English and Western, mostly "English" as in dressage, combined training and junior jumpers. Later on I had a barn in Houston and trained mostly hunter/jumper lower levels, which good basic dressage thrown in.

Looking forward to the discussion, thanks to the admins for hosting this site.

Happy Trails,

John

Welcome to HCC!! I am sure you'll get lost of questions, most of us don't know much about english. I've shown saddle seat a few times, but I'm a beginner at it.

Welcome to the forum! Glad you've joined, and hope you like it. Would love to hear about your life in horses
