Default Hello Everyone! =]

Hello everybody! =] My name is Adrian, and I joined here because I'm on a hunt. A hunt for a Hunt Seat horse. lol! I also thought it would be nice to converse with other horse people.

So a little about myself? I own four horses personally, and I ride a few others. My babies are; Takoda, a buckskin Fjord cross mare that is my baby, who I trained myself back in 2005. Buddy (aka: Tankin Around Town), a sorrel Quarter Horse gelding, that came with Takoda. Taylor (aka: Hez The Kid), yet another QH gelding, only this one I'm training for my younger cousin. And finally, the once-abused, Molly Dee. She's a dark bay mutt that's gaited. They may not be much, but they are my babies.

I ride mainly western, but I'm switching back to my roots....well almost. I was raised in a dressage barn that was full of imported warmbloods, my mother managed the place. Now, I'm switching over to Hunt Seat related events.

If you want to know more, please just ask. =] I'd love to meet you!

Hello and WELCOME!! Thanks for joining horsechitchat!

Looking for a horse? Have you tried:

agdirect.com
horsetopia.com
equine.com
dreamhorse.com

Those are the main sites I use for buying or selling. Hope that helps. With the way the economy is, shouldn't be too hard to find a decent price range. I do hope you find what you'r looking for

Hope to hear from you around the forums!

Um, let me see if I can get some pics up here...lol.

As far as the sites, I've tried Dreamhorse, Equine.com, and Horsetopia. I've never heard of Agdirect.com. I'll give it a look. Thank you so very much! =]

Hi,
I love your pic.
My hollywood mare has a similar face.
Perk up, all your horses are GREAT no matter what the breeding.
You don't need a fancy import- my opinion. We still get beat by the Germans, they sell us the best of the worse, and keep the really good ones.
Although our American QH's clean up in the international Reining competitions.
What/Who ever you ride Im sure you'll be a success and HAVE FUN.

Ltc4h, thanks! That would be my baby girl, Takoda in my picture. We were getting ready to go into a halter class.
I do agree with you, and my boyfriend would even more so. All of our horses have been either abuse or starvation cases, or the previous owners were terrified of the horse. We've owned everything from a 16.2 HH Thoroughbred mare, Corona, to a 13.2 pony, Luca. They've all been fantastic in their own way, I would just like something with some papers so i could show competitively.

This year, though, I am showing a Reg. Black QH mare, Philly, for some friends. (She's been eating walnuts...so she needs to get off the place, and she's very very very FAt, and in need of a tune up before spring when we move cattle.)
