Hi, I'm Sam! I live in Issaquah/Sammamish, Wa and am a horse enthusiast. I'm currently in the process of buying my new baby Lewis. He's a 6 year old Purebred Friesian gelding and absolutely gorgeous, I was in love at first sight... I'm 18, kind of a beginner in the horse world. I've been around them since I was little but never really had the opportunity to own one until last year when my boss/ best friend leased her Arabian Quarter Horse mare Addie to me. I loved her, but she really wasn't the horse for me. So now I'm buying my own and getting lessons on him and sticking with him for life.

Haha... I'm kind of a dork and I tend to ramble, so if this gets long I'm sorry. But I really do love horses and figured it would be fun to talk to other people who love them too. That and as I stated, I'm a newbie at the horse owning business so if I ever had a question it would be fun to ask someone it before I screw him up trying to figure it out on my own!

I also own a beautiful chow/german shepherd mix who I fondly call a gerchow. His names Kyle and he's the current love of my life. He matches me perfectly.

Hello Sam and welcome to our forum! Glad you could join us. Couldn't have picked a better breed to start with (except maybe a purebred Quarter horse) I absolutely love Friesians and always will. I have raised a few of the Friesian Sporthorses but don't currently own any now.
