Default Greetings from NW Oregon

Hi all, I'm from NW Oregon. My husband Jim and & have 7 equines, 4 riding horses, 3 ponies of different sizes, a billy goat "Junior Bob", a mess of chickens, two big spoiled dogs, two cats, a few scrawny squirrels and a whole passel of wild birds Jim feeds daily.

Jim's retired, I work here at home doing Foster Care for MR/DD women.

Kids are all grown, 14 grandkids and a bunch added from blended familys. We don't ride as much as we used to, just getting older I guess. We go horse camping a couple times a year, our most looked forward to trip is this coming weekend, we'll be there 7 full days. Our group consists of folks I met on another site, we rep. 3 states.

I don't post much. I keep pretty busy all day.

Looking forward to getting to know you and find my way round here.

We don't have a big place, 5 acres. Been here 13 yrs and finally got it half fenced. Most fence companies wouldn't do the job because we're on river bottom rock.

Most of the horses are kept elswhere, we're lucky we have friends needing their empty pastures chewed down.

I've had trouble posting photos, but haven't tried since getting my computer tuned up.

Well, tried again, no luck, I'll try again after getting back from our trip.
