Welcome to the forum! ♥

I love appaloosas..(I bet you can tell from my name) 17hh seems huge for that breed, the highest I've seen in an appy is about 16hh. Can you post some photos? We'd love to see them

Hello and welcome to the forum! I raise/train/sell APHA's and AQHA's. My father trained in his younger years, boarded, and also had stud service. He had a beautiful Chestnut Blanket Appaloosa stallion named Sundance, who's breeding I forget. He was stolen when my dad was in the process of relocating.

Can't wait to see photos of your horses!

Welcome to HCC, I can't wait to see
some pics of your horses, mostly your
humongous Appaloosa..
Hehe, I didn't know Appaloosas can
grow that tall? Hey, what do I know?
I think they look like spotted
Quarter Horses, lol.. Unless they are
bred with a Thoroughbred, I would
think they probably grow to 17hh.

Anyways, cya around!

Hey there.. I'm new too.

Good luck with your appy. They are an amazing breed, their personality's are wonderful and they are very talented. Although i think all breeds are. You appy stud is about normal height for alot of Appy's. I worked for an appy breeder, and they now are breeding for height. IT was an amazing job and most of her appy s (out of over 75 appy s), cleared 16.0 hands with ease.

Hi,
Sorry I'm about a half year late, but not much else to do sitting under 4 1/2 feet of snow.
It would be interesting if you could find out his breeding, Wap Spot lineage are bred for two things height and color.
J & G Sport horses out of Pa had this line until earlier this fall they disbanded.
I know some fans of this line still have some foundation sires.

Hi Ace, I'm also new here. Good luck with you Appy stud. (Just be careful - stallions can sometimes be unpredictable - but a lot of them are good natured and not difficult to handle) 17hh is big but would love to see the pictures of him, and your other horses. Welcome
