Default hi from Oz

Hi

Just found your forum and looking forward to getting to know you all thought I should jump in and introduce myself.

Im an equine and pet portraitist from Australia, had a few years off riding (kids and injuries) now my youngest is getting really keen and wanting to start pony club over here its been a good excuse to get back into the saddle myself.

I live on 7 acres with an assortment of animals(that includes the family ), my australian stock horse Mac, daughters paloose pony Sharee, assorted chooks and steers. and of cause my old dog Banjo whos an australian red cattle dog. hes what I call my employee I employ him to keep me company in my art studio.

Hello and welcome to Horse Chit Chat! Thanks for joining, I'll have to check out your site. I love painting and photography... mainly of horses of course.

Can't wait to hear more of you in the forum!

Wow! Austrailia! Have you lived there your entire life? Have you ever ridden in the US? If so, how did the experience differ from Austrailia? I just love learning about riding all over the world!! Oh! and welcome to the forum . . .

Hi Connie

sorry for the delay in replying, been away for a week funnily enough just up near Brisbane Im 2 1/2 hours south of Sydney on the coast.

Im involved in horse rescue too through my artwork, I create portraits of the horses in the rescues care which are then sold with a % going directly to the rescue group. its nice to be able to give something back to help the horses
