Default New to horses and this board

Hello

My name is Shannon, My family and I have just bought a couple of horses. I know I should have gotten older horses for my first ones. Although these boys have very good ground manners. I have owned them for 2 months I the spotted App is 3yrs old and the Sorrel Blanket is a yearling. I the 3yr is still very green but he is willing. I look forward to any help you all may have for us. Also as far as riging I have been riding off and on for a few yr now.

Thanks
Shannon & family

Hey! New to this board too, it's been hard getting a connection, hmm. Your horses are beautiful. I hope we both learn lots here. I just found out that the farm where our Ralphie is housed has just had 2 more horses abandoned on her and I hope to be able to help build stalls for them and show them that humans can be wonderful to be around.

Take care!!

Welcome to both of you!

There is a lot to say and to learn about horses. Just post a question and we all will see what we can come up with.

Welcome! We're a helpful bunch, I am sure you'll love it. What kind of experience do you have with horses? English, Western, training, etc....

I ride english and western, but I prefer western unless I am showing. It's so much more relaxed! I will say, however, riding an english saddle has done wonders for my seat, lol.
I'm with your daughter, I would love to barrel race some day! When Jack gets a little older I am going to see how he likes it. He is a lazy boy but he loves to haul a**!lol.
Very pretty boys you have there, I've always been a sucker for Appy prints! What are their names?
