Default Beating the winter blahs

Here in Northeast Ohio we can go weeks without seeing the sun. Even though it has been a mild wiinter this can be gloomy. My horses are still on their holiday sabbatical. A friend of mine is organizing an ADT at a very nice indoor driving arena about 40 mins from my house. I took my Haflinger there last week for a lesson and he was glad to break up the boredom. This week we are participating in an ADT (Arena Driving ) event. Wish us luck. Have never done one of these before. Horsedrivensite.net

Let us know how it goes.
Although, It has been high 30's this week, I know winters not over.
Just not sure if I like spring as much as I thought I did. Instead of dealing with snow and frozen ground trying to work horses in 4" of mud isn't any better.

A little update on the the "winter blahs".

Not counting earlier this week - since yesterday evening 1 foot of snow by noon. Then about 2 inches of rain so far - with at least another one coming. By midnight we will switch back to snow - one more foot forecasted till tomorrow am.

When I look at the radar, I wish I didn't and when I look out the window, I wish I had shutters.

At feeding it took a while for the horses to come out of their hiding spot way down in the trees.

Now that can give you the winter blahs! You all stay dry and warm.
