Hi there, my name is Robin and I'm a 40 year old mother of 3. I work as a stable hand on an Arabian farm and I'm surrounded by 30 horses on a daily basis, only one of which is mine! I wanted a horse all my life and getting this job (after 13 years as a stay at home mom) finally enabled me to have one. My husband bought me my horse for my 40th birthday. He is a quarab pinto gelding named Rock Me Amadeus and I am head over heels in love! Amadeus is not yet broke to ride, though I have been on his back a few times now. His training has been put on hold for the winter (weather is bad here in NC!) but I hope to be riding him this Spring!

Anyway, I look forward to chatting with others about horses!

Welcome to HCC Robin! Glad to have you! I didn't have to wait quite as long, but after wanting a horse my whole life I finally bought myself a Kentucky Mountain Horse when I was 24. I was hooked the day he was born, now he's almost 4 and I am so attached people tease me,lol.
