Hey everyone!

My mom says the first word out of my mouth after mama and dada was "horsie". This led to horse backriding lessons once I was 5. Unfortunately after my parents' divorce and my mom being laid off, lessons were no longer affordable. Since then I've been lucky to go on a trail ride once a year!

This past summer I volunteered on farms in Nova Scotia through an organization called WWOOF (highly recommend it). The first farm had horses, so my host offered to give me lessons. I was also brought to driving and reining shows. It was awesome.

In less than three weeks I begin a two year program at D'Arcy Lane in Ontario to become a certified equine massage therapist. I'm very excited

Anyways, I tend to be more of a lurker than a poster. So I look forward to reading everyone's posts and occasionally saying something myself
