Hi to all....greetings from the high desert country of northern Nevada. I breed performance bred tobiano Paints and a few QH's. Just bought 40 acres and two homes in northern NV and now the horses have running room. There is a highway through the middle of the land so the stallions and ungelded colts and geldings all live on one side of the place (the boys run in a bachelor herd!) and the mares, fillies and weanlings live on the other...with one exception. I have one older (18 years) stallion who has always lived with his mare herd and I removed him this spring to use another stallion with the mares.... and he paced the fence and got depressed and lost a lot of weight in about 4 days. He now has his own pen next to his ladies (don't want him with them as there are a couple open mares I don't want bred until next spring). Expecting 9 foals next spring so it should be a colorful season. Although it needs a bit of updating (need good photos of some of the mares) you are welcome to take a peek....
Colored Cowhorse Ranch - Home will get you there. Looking forward to getting to know folks here.
