Red face Hi from Germany!!

Hello!

I'm a 16-year-old girl from Germany. I have a horse called Lorena. She is a 4-year-old Haflinger. I got her when she was 2 years old. Last fall I started to ride her and she's doing very well.
What else can I tell you about me? ...I live in Bavaria and I still go to school. My riding style is western. I love it!

Maybe you wonder why I didn't register in a German forum?
The thing is, I am looking for work in the US for 1 year. Especially in Texas. I would love to learn about working horses there.
Do you know if this is possible or do you even know somebody who could give me some work? I'd imagine to do every kind of work coming up on a ranch, like grooming the stables, putting the horses into their pastures, grooming the horses, feeding them and so on. "In return" I want to work the horses from the ground and from the saddle and get lessons or tips from somebody who has experience in training horses.
I really want to learn about training horses (especially young/untrained and misstreated horses).

Please if you know somebody or if you have questions about this, write me! Please, please, please... You (or this person) can write me here or send me an E-mail (anjakring@googlemail.com)!

Hello and welcome to the forum! Would love to see some piccys of your halflinger.

I live in TN and wouldn't know of any info for you from texas but you might try an internet search or cooljobs.com -(a friend of mine got a ranching job as a wrangler and trail guide in Colorado from there)...might be worth checking out.

Hope you enjoy the forum,
