I have a 6 yr old mare who seems to not look to me as a leader and disrespects me repeatedly "Dominant Horse" but she pushes me around and just dosnt respond to training well. I have been trying to do ground work and succeed at it but it seems as though every topic I hit she dominates over it. She is usually pretty good undersaddle (with a fourwheeler in front) but im not getting very good forward motion with out it. I have also tried lunging and she closes into me by moving closer to me when Im asking her to do anything. What tips can you guys give me to help improve my leadership and horsemanship with my horse?
