Default Hi from Nevada

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I live in a small town in Nevada named Stagecoach with a population is about 750 people. We are so small that we share the post office with the town east of us named Silver Springs (11 miles away). Stagecoach lies off Highway 50 between Carson City (Capitol) and Fallon (Naval Base) just about in the middle (27 to 28 miles either direction). We raise Paints and Quarter horses - all are cow bred with pedigrees that include: Doc O'Lena, Doc Doll, Color Me Smart, Freckles Playboy, Playgun, Lenas Diamond Chex, Doc's Hickory, Reminic and Nu Cash just to name a few. I would love to hear from you and tell me what you are doing.

Hello!

It sounds like you live in an interesting area, I look forward to seeing pics.

I live in Central Pa and pretty much just trail ride.
I have one draft pony cross and one QH.
Wish I didn't have to work so I could have more horse time.

Hello,

From your neighbor to the south (Arizona). I am south east of Phoenix. Our rural lifestyle is being swallowed by the city. Youv'e got some good bloodlines runnin through your herd. Do you just have mares or do you have your own stallion(s). Stay cool and welcome to the site.

Default Hi from Nevada

We have 1 AQHA Stallion (Grandson of Playgun with Colonel Freckles and Zan Parr Bar), 2 mature Paint Stallions (one a finished reiner, second unshown due to injury as a two year old). We have one 2 year old Paint started in training (Buckskin Tobi, Grandson of Hollywood Dun It on top out of my daughter of Color Me Smart), Yearling Colt by The Big Gun out of my daughter of Color Me Smart, and a weanling colt by Jessies Remedy (son of Doc's Remedy out of a daughter of Jessie James) out of BBR Uvaldalena (on Papers: Gay Bar Kind, Uvalde Doll (2x), Jose Uno, Retrospect). Then their are the mares.....bloodlines include, Color Me Smart, Nu Cash, Reminic, Playgun, Doc's Dee Bar, Peppy San Badger, Smart Little Lena, AB Smart Little Mick, Doc's Serendipity, Gay Bar King, Jose Uno, Boomernicker, Doc N Jose, etc. You can see everyone on the website.

index

My favorite part is working with the babies.....I turn them over to my husband and daughter at 1 1/2 to 2 then get them back after they are started....(I find that at my age I just don't bounce anymore....lol) I don't mind putting the miles on them though.

Default Hi from Nevada

Here is another picture, taken at the end of our property.....the horses that you see are wild mustangs. This picture was taken 8/2006, since they BLM has captured with small herd. What a shame, I loved watching them every morning and evening as they passed our place.

Beautiful picture, I really enjoy seeing places that I have never been.

Sad about the mustangs, seems to be nowhere for them to go.
