Hello all. My name is Connie, and I am the proud owner of a beautiful retired race horse. His name is Monty, he's 11 years old, and it has been a long haul to get where I am with him. I have owned Monty for 4 years, and though I have learned alot in that time, I am not afraid to admit that I am still very green. With the help of my wonderful husband, and alot of advice from a horse woman up the road from my barn, we are now BarC stables, with my thoroughbred, an Appaloosa gelding and another thoroughbred.

Anyway glad to hear about Monty, when you can get them calmed down they are great. We have one also. But he now has developed some reoccuring swelling in his back leg.

Vet doesn't know what it is. As soon as he gets moving he is fine.
