Hi Everyone!

I guess since I am new, I should tell some things about me. I graduated highschool in June and applied and was accepted to the Advanced Farrier Science program at Olds College. I have always owned horses and have a special bond with each one. My grampa had a welsh pony breeding program and I trained alot of those horses and then we got out of breeding for a few years. I bought and sold horses from the auction mart for a few years then last year i bought my first APHA mare. Her name is Fancy Hearts Afire and is a futurity baby who placed 4th overall in alberta. After buying her May 06, my long time love affair for the APHA horses came alive when i bought my first broodmare in Sept 06. Her name if KCQFLASHBACK. I bought my reining stallion Spotted A Runner in Dec06 and have enjoyed them ever since. I am expecting 2 foals in April 08. I showed Fancy hearts Afire in 2 shows this year and placed 3 firsts, one 2nd, 2 3rds, a 4th and a 5th. She did very well for not being in shape and pregnant.

I also have miniature horses. I have a 31.5 inch black miniature stallion, 33 inch bay mare, 32 inch silver bay mare and 27 inch blue roan gelding. We drive and show our minis. (well, only one show, but did very well)

Sounds like you have your hands full. You will have to keep us informed on all the new farrier information. Good luck in school and hope you enjoy the site.

Hope all turns out as planned and you get the foals that you are looking for. It will be neet to watch there progress.
