Default Chronic leg injuries -- advice?

Where I board, horses go out daily in paddocks. Mine goes out alone because she used to get hurt with others. Now she's been causing injury to the inside front canon bone. This is the third time she has done it and it causes a lot of bleeding from a small cut and swelling as well as 4-5 days layup from riding.

The problem is that the guys who do the turnout really don't know how to boot leg boots, so I can't have that done before she goes in her paddock. She would have to booted or wrapped the night before, which I wouldn't want to do for fear they would do more harm than good for that many hours.

I'm thinking that with the placement of the injury that she's coming down or whacking that that canon with the other front hoof, not overreaching from behind.

Anybody have a similar issue? Any ideas? I'm getting tired of cold hosing and poulticing in 20 degrees.

I would have your farrier take a look at her feet. He might be leaving the inside of the hoof too long causing her to clip herself when she travels. Also, how is her conformation? Does she has slight crooked legs, or does she toe in at all?? The key would be to get with your farrier and let him/her know that she is clipping herself, thus he/she can trim or change the angle of her foot so she can't clip herself.
