Rallen,
Based on the questions you have been asking, I would see if there are other horse people near you that can give you a hand. I was fortunate in that I was mentored along in my early years by lots of older/more experienced horse people. It's one thing to go out and ride at a stable where they saddle and bridle the horse and another thing altogether to have to feed, pick hooves, brush, lead, lounge, etc. So please don't think I am unsympathetic. You need that hands on mentoring. While a trainer would be wonderful; other, more experienced people can show you the hands on stuff that you just cannot get in a forum like this.
As long as you are respectful, most experienced riders are more then willing to help you with the basics!
