Question watery eyes?

I noticed yesterday that my horse's eyes where quiet red & watery. I think it may be allergies or something like that. Though...could it be a reaction from the medicine he's taking? I don't what it's called...I just know it's pain meds xD

I'll go take a look at the bottle and tell you what it is later...

They really seemed to be bothering him a great deal, he kept rubbing his head on the stall boards & the stall door. Maybe something got in them? Lord knows...I left Donnie a note to take a peak. But in the mean time, what do you guys think it may be?

It could be a reaction to the pain meds, but it's more likely just an allergy. Jack doesn't get them so I am not sure what all you can do. I don't know if sterile saline would hurt or help. I saw a response to something similar on here recently, I am sure someone has a little more experience and can give you better advice. Is he mainly inside? Dust and grit from the bedding could be causing irritation too, you might try taking him outside for a little while to see if it helps.

Yes, he's been kept in a stall for the past month or more...so that could be it
