Default Sarcoids

hi, I have a 8 year old quarter horse gelding who has a history of getting the small wart style sarcoids. The lady I bought him from gave me the XXTERA that the vet gave her just in case they came back. Well lately he has been very cinchy and as I was running my hands everywhere I noticed that he has some coming back under his front legs, (armpit area). As I read up on XXTERA is says a week of treatment and no irritation to the area and to wrap it. I have had no experience using the med or with sarcoids so i was just hunting for anyone that has an idea or goods and bads. Anything would be great. Like Isaid, they are tiny wart looking sarcoids not the open sores. Thank you in advance

my friend had a horse with sarcoids and my horse has a sarcoid the size of a acorn on the inside of her back leg on her thigh as such and i believe if the sarcoid isnt overlly huge and causing a problem then they should be left alone horses are the same as people with having irregular skin it just the same for horses as it is us u woulodnt go re removing a wart on ur hand if u had one if there not sore leave them most people dont like sarcoids becouse they think it makes the horse look ugly or somthing but it just the horse only treat problems that are really problems if the horse isnt fussed then you shouldnt fuss well that what i think
even if my horse was covered in warts that were no problem id still love her the same and still think she is beautiful. my friend horse had hers removed as it was on her chest and it was the size of a golf ball but it was open and very sore another thing my vet told me the chances that u clear the first sarcoid when they come back which they will there will be twice as many id just leave well alone but thats just me many other people will say different

Default sarcoids

I did alot of research online about sarcoids...as i have a 5 year old Quarter horse mare that has quite a few of them on her left ear. I found that the XTERRA ointment can remove the sarcoids...but might also take some of the skin tissue with it. I havent yet treated the sarcoids on my mare's ear, but im planning on using Tea Tree Oil. I've heard quite a few people say they have had great luck with it. And its all natural.

If the bumps are however sarcoids, i would be careful not to "disturb" them, as sometimes when they are messed with, they can return twice as bad.

Hope that helps! Let me know what happens!
