I have found a horse that I want to buy that is near perfect... Though I was told she has had pigeon fever, I dont know much about it but it has cleared up in the mare supposably. Is it possible for her to still have it? Or to possibly bring it home to my other horses? Advice greatly appreciated!

I personally would keep looking.
Usually when someone seeks outside advice, it's to reasure them that what they are going to do is Ok.
I'd go with your gut instinct, something has left you with a big question mark.

Any disease that can lead to lymphangitis, would be enough for me to keep clear.

I've heard the pigeon fever is quite contageous....somewhat like strangles...

I'm not sure if it is contagious all the time or just when it is broken open and draining?
