Question stomach pain?

I am a new horse owner, my 82 year old dad woke me up one night with 2 horses and a minature, and since I had a fence -----
Anyway, one of them is always making a painful yelping sound when my 12 year old neice tries to get on her. She bucks often and makes this sound also during the day sometimes when no one is with her.
I thought she had just gotten lazy but we have walked her alot and she has gotten worse. We are going to take her to a vet this week but I don't know enough to help my vet understand what the problem is. Her stomach is huge and she doesn't eat alot. She dozes all day She is around 11 years old. I thought for a time she was missing her prior owners but she has made buddies here and loves to be petted. T hanks for any help.

You will have to let us know what the vet says. Just make sure you let him/her know everything that she is doing no matter if you think it is related or not. More information is better than giving to little, and if you can record it that may help also. Let us know what happens sounds interesting, medically speaking.
