Default liability insurance questions

I am considering boarding horses on property that I own. I have a few questions for those operating a horse boarding facility.

how much do you annually pay for liability insurance?
do you allow trail riding on your property?
do you have a riding ring?
are riding lessons given on the property?
what insurance company do you suggest using?

I don't board, but do have outside horses in for Training.

My coverage consists of $500k per horse care/custody/control- 1 Million per rider accident- 500k per Transport coverage- 500k Liability- Annual cost is $2,500 per year. I have that coverage through Agri-Risk although most agriculture/equine companies have similiar coverage.

Since I am a Training facility I don not offer Trail riding.
Yes I do have an enclosed ring and give lessons.

You also should check into equine liability signs for your state, and have a release form that must be signed by an adult.
A list of rules and regulations that they sign as well can be helpful- No smoking, no unattended kids, spectators are not covered by insurance, no dogs, no alcohol... It seems like alot, but in the long run worth it.
