3 Troughs and 1 Water Supply

I need to set up 3 water troughs all within 8 feet of eachother (3 paddocks). One trough already has the water source and a float. I want to feed the other two troughs. Do I split the water source to feed all 3 and buy a float for each? Or link all troughs and make sure the trough with the float is level or lower than the other two? Or what is the best way to set this up?
