Default Brittle Tail

Does anyone know of a Good product topical for a horses tail? His mane is fine but his tail seems to really dry. I am wondering if this is just a weather issue or a feed change. I use man and tail but haven't tried cowboy magic caus the price.

Any good ideas or products.. tail bags are out a man thing.

Personally, I like using Infusium leave in treatment (for people). It works great and is a lot cheaper than cowboy magic. I just shampoo and rinse, condition and rinse, and then apply the infusium and I use my fingers to comb out the tail. You could also feed a hoof supplement along with helping the hooves it also helps mane and tail growth and condition.

Using Infusion condition sounds like a good tip. I'm going to have to try that.

Default Thanks - Dont Get Mad

Wow first off that was some pretty poor spelling on my post.

Second I took some corona sauve and put it on there when my wife wasn't looking, she hates it when I try and be a doc. But I think it worked fine 2 treatments later.. nice and most and he is leaving it alone.

I will try the infusion if it happens again. I worked the corona pretty thin before i put it on, so it didn't really pick up any gunk from the stall.
