Default New Saddle Question

I'm looking at purchasing an antares saddle but am not sure whether to get the deep seat or half deep. The Deep seat is by far the most comfortable for me but as a guy, I am worried that the deeper the seat, the more likely I may fall onto the pommel when I post. Unfortunatley, the antares rep did not have a deep seat with the correct flap size for me and so while i was falling forward in the demo saddle (because flap was too far forward) and landing on the pommel (she said I was posting higher to compensate), she said with the correct saddle flap, I won't land on saddle. She seems so confident about this that she told me I should go with the deep seat as opposed to a flatter seat because the pommel wont be an issue. If I purchase the half deep to be extra careful, would that decrease the likelyhood of me hitting the pommel, or would a deeper seat actually lower the risk as perhaps the pommel drops down quicker into the saddle (to make the seat deeper and thus, the pommel would be further from me) as opposed to slowly declining into the saddle (which would allow the seat to be flatter)? These are my speculations. Thank you!

Thats hard to say as you don't know how the flap and seat combination will place you in the saddle. I would say make sure you try the combo that she is suggesting before ordering one for sure! That would be an expensive mistake!
