Yep, I have help freeze brand quite a few horses. I would definately not recommend doing with out the vets assistance. You will want the horse sedated so it doesn't move and the area must be prepped correctly(sterile). Also if you leave the freeze brand on too long you can do some major damage to the skin, since you are using liquid nitrogen. I would definately talk with your vet. I would hate to see something bad happen and the horse get an infection from something going wrong. This is one time when sedation is your horses friend. Hope this helps.
