I enjoy riding alone but if you're going on a long trail ride it's safer to bring along a friend. I ride almost all the time with my twin sister and we usually don't talk much. It is pretty much the same as riding alone if you're both just doing your own thing but it's also safer if there is someone else there even if you aren't chitchatting the whole time.

the woods scare me

I do both. Alone and with small groups. I enjoy sharing the out of doors with my daughters and friends.

I rarely ride anything flat. I prefer the mountains





And during the winter we ride in the desert.

It depends where, when, and how long I go. But its usually with several buddies. If I do go along, then I make sure its not for a very long time, and in a safer place then what I would do if I went with buddies.
