I take my 25 year old ARabian out to ride in peach orchards at least twice a week..........she loves it .......SHe doesn't like going deep in woods though.........But I wil gradually get her used to it...........The first time deer shared the orchard eating atthe edge of the woods................Being around my horse has made a bad headache go away.
I thank God for his Gift of the horse that brings smiles to others when I share her.

Hi, My Mare did not like the deep woods much last year.. but this year she is ok.. I threatened to take her out in the woods and tie her till she "Got Over It". LOL
need a patients pole in the deep woods.. and Boy do we have them (the woods) I am in the Pacific Northwest....
she is goosy... the thinks some thing is behind her... and that is about the only thing that gets to her..
but I am going to work on that .... not sure what I am going to do.
maybe pull logs or tarps or what ever I can get her to do...
Yehaw.... lol

I love riding in the deep woods. I couldn't imagine riding anywhere else. I guess it's just a matter of getting your horse used to it.
